Amanda Koonjbeharry has an impressive résumé of social work. Currently she is the Director of Public Policy for the Citizens League of Minnesota. Previously she had led a project for anti-sex trafficking in the Minneapolis area, and has been involved in numerous roles that serve communities and families that are in need. She holds two Master's degrees (Social Work & Public Policy) and a Bachelor's degree (Family Social Science) from the University of Minnesota. In 2018, Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal named Amanda as a "40 Under 40" honoree.

In the conversation we discuss some of the projects she has worked on, what motivates her to do the work she does, and how her family being from Guyana ties into all of it. Plus we reflect on 2020 and look ahead to 2021.
